# Blockdaemon Bulletin June 2023 Edition

Welcome to the newest edition of the Blockdaemon Monthly Newsletter! As summer is moving along, we are once again eager as ever to deliver the most recent insights, updates, and news from the ever-changing landscape of blockchain and decentralized technologies.

We're proud to announce our partnership with [Zodia Custody](https://zodia.io/) which is a subsidiary of the U.K-based multinational bank Standard Chartered and backed by Northern Trust and SBI Holdings to bring crypto staking to institutional clients. As the first bank-owned custodian to offer staking services, Zodia Custody is breaking new ground and we're delighted to be a part of this journey.

This development comes amid growing interest in staking, further accelerated by Ethereum's shift to a proof-of-stake system, which saw the amount of Ether staked surge to 22.58 million ($42 billion).
