AI Agents Overview

Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents are programs that can perform a variety of tasks using machine learning, natural language processing, and other AI technologies. They can be used for purposes ranging from automating customer service to more complex tasks in data analysis and decision making.

Types of AI Agents

  1. Reactive Agents - These agents perform tasks based on the current environment. They do not have memory or the ability to use past experiences.
  2. Limited Memory Agents - These agents utilize past information to make decisions. They can keep data for a limited time and learn from previous actions.
  3. Theory of Mind Agents - These agents understand emotions, beliefs, and interactions of others, which shapes their responses.
  4. Self-aware Agents - These are the most advanced, possessing self-awareness and the ability to understand their own internal states and those of others.
